One of the Energy Lab’s longest running projects is coming to completion soon! The translation of Hugh Piggott’s ‘A Wind Turbine Recipe Book’ into Greek with a foreword on small-scale renewable energy applications from New Guinea. It includes designs for six wind turbines with blade diameters from 1.2m to 4.2m (rated power from 350W to 2kW). The book includes the whole construction process, all the materials you will need, material suppliers and simple methodologies for designing a small wind turbine. All wind turbines built by the New Guinea Energy Laboratory are based on the designs in this manual.
