Following the successful reinforcement of the autonomous power generation system in the eco-community ‘Spitfire‘ in Marathon, with the installation of a small 600W wind turbine in July 2012, and due to the increasing needs of the project, in the autumn of 2013 a second 900W wind turbine was installed, which had been built in a seminar in New Guinea. It is a wind turbine with a 3-meter diameter impeller that is built for charging a 24V battery system. It was installed on a 12-metre-high mast 75 metres from the main premises of the project.
