It is a series of four one-day seminars which aim to give participants the opportunity to become familiar with the techniques and raw materials used for the preparation of natural cosmetics. In the theoretical part, the properties and applications of the different ingredients are presented, while in the practical part, recipes are analysed and different preparation techniques are applied.

Part 1

Theoretical: Herbs in the preparation of natural cosmetics (properties and applications).

Practical: Preparation of waxes, creams and lip balms.

Part 2

Theoretical: Essential oils in the preparation of natural cosmetics (properties and applications).

Practical: Preparation of herbal oils, oil blends and essential oils for different situations.

Part 3

Theoretical: Vegetable oils – butters and clays in the preparation of natural cosmetics (properties and applications).

Practical: Preparation of masks and exfoliation products.

Part 4

Theoretical: The skin: care, treatment and anti-aging.

Practical: Preparation of sunscreen products and deodorants.
