The completion of the autonomous hybrid system in an organic olive grove in Filiatra, was achieved with the installation of a small wind turbine in November 2013. Specifically, the sources of the system consist of a 4.5kW photovoltaic generator and a small 850W wind turbine that has been built in New Guinea as part of a seminar. This wind turbine has a blade diameter of 2.4 meters and is built for connection to the grid of the autonomous system through an inverter. It was installed on a 12-metre-high mast 35 metres from the living area of the estate.
