Thai massage

Traditional Thai Massage is a set of techniques developed in Southeast Asia over 2500 years ago. These techniques are applied in order to stimulate and balance the flow of energy in the basic channels that run through the body and to enhance the internal self-healing powers. This is achieved through pressures along the energy lines and passive stretches, which release the body from nervous and muscular tensions, activate blood and lymph circulation and detoxify the tissues. New Guinea’s training activities were aimed at people who wanted to improve their relationship with their bodies and to be able to use these therapeutic massage techniques to deal with muscular and psychological tensions, in the context of self-education and self-management of health.
